Actually...those axles are not as bad as I thought. First time I saw one in person I was impressed. I've heard the early versions were junk, but what they are building now seems legit. They are not as customizable as a diamond axle, but they are also cheaper. Let's put it this way, TG's "C" SAS kit - which includes the axle (or most of it) - is basically the price of a diamond axle alone.

I thought Wyatt from Rock Solid Toys (RST) had figured that out for the 2nd gens:confused::confused:

Yep , just like I said there's always somebody that knows somebody and it worked perfect .Like I said , post Proof ! not just a statement that you think somebody else did it and it worked. How many times I've heard that same line. If he has the technology he is sitting on a gold mine. He could sell that technology to any axle manufacture ASAP

Go check it out yourself http://www.rocksolidtoys.com/forum/index.php , and also check their FB page.

If you want the proof go ask Wyatt directly. Go to the source and argue with them. He built the first ever SAS on a 2nd gen and has a business doing SASs on late model tacomas. As far as I remember from looking at some of their builds, they figured it out a while ago. Otherwise, how would their customers be getting their rigs to pass inspections?

Ok, perhaps they have a way of doing it under the table, I don't know....

Detailed email sent , i'll keep everybody updated on exactly what they say. And we'll see. I like how you threw in that disclaimer at the end "OK perhaps he's doing something under the table" Ha ha already backpedaling. Again you made the accusation that there was a fix and offered no proof. You say "Go check for yourself" I did and nobody has a solution. You say they do but can't prove it.

This was posted by Wyatt in that link that you provided to prove it , you actually just proved me right and you wrong . Thanks good job.

You might want to talk to Wyatt too haha.

I got lucky because my 1st gen didn't have ABS, no sensors or any kind, etc. So I didn't have to deal with any lights/codes as result of the SAS.

The link that you provided gave me all the information I need . Wyatt said they don't have a solution.

Too late for me  You might be able to splice the signal from the sensor on the rear axle to get rid of the light, but ABS still wouldn't function correctly. The only way to get abs to work properly is to put a tone ring in the hub somewhere.

Oh well...I stand corrected then :p

And it sucks for all those with newer trucks that want to do a SAS :D

Interestingly enough, I have noticed that in AZ a LOT of JK guys do SASs with late model Super Duty 1 ton axles. JKs have a left hand transfer case like we do, so the super duty axles make sense. But the other reason after talking to people is that those axles come with the tone rings, and apparently is a plug and play kind of deal for them. So they don't have issues with lights on their dash boards.

Will you be able to get the truck registered with the lights?

I got the official response from Wyatt what great customer service . Answered my email the same day on 4th of July. Very cool. However not good news.

"No one has a solution for the front axle and the ABS yet although I am working in it but it is still many months away"

So you were serious about that haha.

Yea Wyatt is a pretty cool guy.

Well...at least they figured out the rear. Perhaps the guys are pulling the bulbs to get their trucks inspected? They are doing something cause I know these rigs are driven on the road.

I live in California, you could pull the bulbs it won't matter. They plug into your truck with the computer and it tells them everything. Instant fail , they'll fail you for the codes popping up and for the warning lights not working.

I apologize for you living in a crappy state. Around here, if it's self powered and drives straight, that's considering "working".

Hit the nail right on the fucking head. Dude came down from the northeast to one of our events in Florida and got severely butthurt when no one ooh'd and ahh'd over his bro-dozer.
