Anyone interested in not web wheeling and having an SAS forum run next year? In talking like actually wheeling some intermediate to hard trails with a good group, drinking heavily at camp and putting some faces to screen names. Post up if you are interested and where you are from so we can pick a location somewhat central to everyone.

Doesn't have to be SAS exclusive, however if you have IFS I'm thinking 37s, front locker, and no fear of dents and dings.

I'm from Illinois so places like the Rubicon and JV would be out for me. However Harlan on the east coast is always good, the Colorado trails would be sweet or even the black hills in SD.

Be nice to wheel with a few SAS rigs and to see the different setups.

We are used to driving long distances to wheel here in the east. Closest good wheeling is 7hrs from me.

Looks like some good interest so far, next will be figureing out time of the year and where based on locations/willingness to travel.

Just to let you all know...there is a big event toyota event here in AZ every spring called "AZrocks." Mostly solid axle toyotas of all types/years. Wyatt from rocksolidtoys is one of the sponsors. Marlin Crawler has shown up a couple of times with his red truck. Other known names that have shown up are Brian from Diamond axle, low range offroad, etc. It's a big toyota day.

So...for those motivated to drive west this could be one heck of an event as most toyota rigs that show up have solid axle swaps. I don't think they have posted dates yet for 2018. But you can find info on FB. They have a FB page called AZrocks.

Was hoping to make it to that in 2018 since I couldn't this year. Seems like a good time with some hard trails.

I think the event generally speaking caters to guys that want to do hard core stuff....but there are always trails of all levels/difficulties.
