SAS questions

parts ordered axles bought, now waiting on the 21st to assemble

 

Here ill save you like 3k http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/ne...51&PHPSESSID=0f6aab0db29466c784e6fcfad57dffc0. Go with a pre 80's Wagoneer axle. They would be 6 lug, passenger drop and around 60" wms. No real need for a beefy axle.

 

yea if your thinking 60's on 33's the clearance under the pumpkin is gonna be HORRIBLE.... like WAY worse than the clearance you have now... i realize you said this would be temporary... but even in the long run.... to make 60's worth while i'd say you need to run atleast 38's... anything smaller than that and you might as well do a 44 and gain the extra clearance under the pumpkin....

 

I. got a kit from sky manufacturing and a dana 44 waggy axle that drops on the driver side, i plan to regear and run bout 37's. im selling my john boat if anyone wants to buy it lol.
