Holly shit! If i had the money I'd trade my second gen TACO in for one in a second! These things are UNREAL! If you have not actually seen one in person, go to your local dealer and check it out!

The Raptor is bad ass and worthy of looking at. But its way too high in price for me to be realistic. Hell I could purchase a default home from the bank for the prices they are asking for these trucks.

Still love your Taco but you would trade it in a second for a Ford????...... I sense treason here.

No treason....you really have to see t in person to understand....remember the poll is IF YOU COULD AFFORD IT, and money is not an issue....you could by TWO TACOS for the price they are asking for one RAPTOR....

Plus i think FORD has come a long way in the past couple years with quality....after TOYOTA, FORD would be my second choice!

My neighbor has one. It does nothing for me. While I agree, after Toyota, Ford would be my second choice, it would be a far behind second choice and it would be an F250 or F350 with a diesel.

Yes they have. I had the pleasure of borrowing a Crew Cab F150 with the max tow package this past weekend and it would be in my driveway if I could afford it.

I vote its ugly. And F150's go for the same or less used. They just dont hold their value like a Toyota.

the raptor is a bad ass truck

think about all the truck you are getting when you buy one and the $40-45K price tag becomes very reasonable... if you are going to use the truck for what it was built for

If I could choose any truck, that would be it, but the price kills it for me. That and the fact that they call the blue one "Blue Flame." But for the money, it's hard to beat a Tacoma.

    For 45 k, I'll build a lt tacoma.

Raptors are sick, no doubt. In my book, nothing beats my tacoma. I'm a bit biased though.

No. I'd take the money that you'd spend on the Ford and trick out the Tacoma (supercharger, long travel, custom paint, etc). You'd still have a boatload of cash left over.

No warranty is going to cover what you'd actually use it for.

When I bought my tacoma on Monday, I looked at a lot of trucks, not just in the class of the tacoma. From chevy (colorado and silverado) Nissan (frontier and titan) GMC (sierra) etc. etc. And I did go to ford and check out the F150 and F150 SVT Raptor. It is a nice truck. I am not typically a fan of Fords in general, being in insurance they also aren't the greatest with repair records, but their trucks are a different story. The Raptor was a nice looking truck, and the suspension was without a doubt, impressive. I could afford it, but went with the tacoma because my uses are different, and I don't need that much truck. I guess if you would use it, then go for it, but I am not yet convinced it is worth all of that money, and I would like to see how it holds up. My humble opinion.

    Yeah, I gots boost
Yeah, I would definitely spring on one if I had the coin... And if you think about it, buying a new fully loaded taco and completely tricking it out is gonna put you pretty close to the asking price of a raptor... But you are in fact throwing a suggestion to a very biased community here

You might be close to the price, but I'm betting the Tacoma will be way more capable.
