    Folks,

I'm looking into upgrading my stock head unit with a Sat Nav receiver stereo system. Will the Sat pre-wired antenna work with a Sat Nav system or will I have to mount the antenna that comes with the new head unit? I'm looking at the JVC KW-NX7000 DVD/navigation receiver.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Rich

the factory antenna is for xm or sirius.. not nav. i put my gps antenna right under the dash as far forward as possible and it works perfect. i wedged it up between the dash and a vent. but if you are adding xm or sirius then yes.. you can use it.. i simply spliced into it for my pioneer xm and works perfect.
