    Can I change/upgrade my Sat radio ant. I get more dead spots just driving by trees. I like the shark fin look but reception sucks

    TRD Cat-back Exhaust. Semi-Debadged. Trimmed down stock Antenna. Weathertech vent visors. TRD FJ Cruiser Center Cap Wheel Mod. 265/75/16 Firestone Destination A/T,s . Inverter tapped into for outlet in cab. Tacomaworld sticker which adds 5 hp.
    Not sure if you can replace the stock one. Me personally, I wouldn't want to mess with the seal. I actually got better reception when I started using the stock antenna. But no matter what antenna I have used, trees have caused it to cut out sometimes. Depending on the tree.

    That seems to be the answer that I found doing the search also. Basicly reception sucks live with it. Thanks for the response

    Ya, unless you are in a city area, where repeaters are used, if you don't have a clear shot at the sky, it is what it is.
