Satoshi Grill question

    so i have been looking at all the builds of satoshi grills for our 1st gens and have been trying to get all the info i need and i think i got it but one last thing...anyone out there was able to get the mesh recessed in the grill for 01-04 without doing any bondo?

    I'm about to recess my grill, as it wasn't so before. I am using black plastic mesh that I ordered from McMaster Carr, I still have some leftover from when I did it the first time.

    I don't see anyway to not use bondo. After you cut out the stock section out there are depressions left.

    If you'd like, I could take some pictures for you and show you what I mean.

    yeah man that would be great, thanks
    im sure some pictures will clear it up but what depressions where? i think i have accepted that i have to cut the vertical plastic bars but by looking at the remaining plastic, i could just attach the mesh to that without bondo but this mod is new to me so i can be wrong

    You will see the vertical bars behind the mesh and it will look like doo-doo.

    thanks, i kind of just dismissed the idea since i will most likely be selling the truck in about a year. i may still do it one of these says though
