fwiw, grillcraft only uses one mounting tab on each side, so 4 altogether, and it hold on just fine! I think 12 is excessive!

ok, lets get a poll going, looks and pricing will determine how you get this going.....you are on the right track with looks so far.............as this post is getting alot of action. I think your going to make alot of money if this is right around $100. plus shipping. what color options are you giving? I would suggest a group buy with TW members and a few different styles, maybe some custom...........but lets see some pricing you have in mind...............

 

This grill is not a insert like the grille craft it's for the satoshi grille mod the tabs are there to fold around the back side of the grille it should help support it from the back Im going to move the tabs off the corners.

 

As soon as I get the final drawing done I can send it to the cutters the more people in on this the better so I think I will get a quote for 10???
I'm going to get it cut from 304 stainless. I think I will leave the paint and powder coat up to you guys it will keep the cost down.

 

Like I said, I would be interested if the price is right. Yeah the grills should be easy enough for people to paint themselves.

Depending on final price, I am looking good to take one too. I'll definitely be powder coating black though so I would prefer CRS to keep the cost down.

Based on the above comment on mounting, I am rethinking my previous post regarding mounting. Though I think 4 is too few, 6 would probably be good, 8 could work too.

 

Need to see price for sure.
