I purchased a grille and should have it tomorrow and will be setting up my Barcelona Red mod for sure shortly!!!

 

are you still doing these? I'm located in torrance and could drop my grill off.

 

heres my truck with the inside color matched. If you look at my pictures i think there are some more showing the inside color matched.

How does this hold up against objects hitting the grill mesh such as a bird or large bug or something? A buddy of mine has a Nissan Titan and had read that someone had a bird fly into their grill and cause damage due to not being strong enough of a mesh/grill or something like that with a similar mod.

I would like to have this done either through your service or myself but just wanted to ask this question. Thanks for your time!

 

^ the satoshi grille will definitely not be as strong as a stock grille whose center piece is part of one continuous plastic mold. That being said, I have never had a bird or unusually large bug fly into my grille so I cannot vouch for the grille's sturdiness in that situation. If you encounter a lot of birds flying around your truck then I might suggest you stay with your stock grille, otherwise, the satoshi grille is perfectly fine

I think someone on here with a recessed grille did post that they got hit by a bird. He has a black truck...might be 1337taco?...I think he said that it dented the metal a little but that was about it, it still stayed attached.

Haha yea. That was me I can't even tell I have a dent anymore. I think it kind of fixed itself with the fluctuation in temperature.

^ yea, except did 1337taco use bolts or zip ties for his satoshi and I wonder if it makes a difference?
