I think they look good as long as they have some sort of emblem on it. I've seen some with the FJ emblem on them, those are nastyy. Even the little TRD emblem in the bottom right adds to it. But just naked with no emblem, ehh, might as well stick to the stock.

Just finnished mine. Had to get someone to weld tabs on for me. I had enough expanded metal left over do a second one so i placed it behind the first one. This really added alot of strength to the surround.

Looks fine to me, i just dont like the little bit of plastic that hangs down from around the edges, but it looks just like the mesh i got off here for cheaper. i have enough to do 1 grill and probably 6-8 triangles and im sure you could get a little more for the bottom piece in the bumper. but i like it just behind the grill and not the bumper to! but if you like that then its clearly not a bad price for both pieces.

Yeah I don't want the lower piece either lol. How did you attach your grille? with bolts glued to the back?

a mixture of bolts epoxied and fiberglassed and zip ties to completely pull the mesh flush with the edges. zip ties is probably the best way to do it thoug, just use plenty!
