Looking for another Taco. Can't stay away.
This should be a good time. Had this thing for a year come Friday and have not tested it out yet. Trying to lock on a temp loan race radio so I can hear everyone shouting at me to get my ass moving.

Looking at some pics online of the mines, I think we need to make sure we have plenty of rope in case someone falls into something.

    JUST SAYIN...

I cant' stop doing research on places to see in Lucerne and I came across a new spot. Actually there are a handful of these spot in Lucerne. I was going to keep it a secret I'm not good at secrets.

This spot on the map is an old bomb target from WWII. You can see the outline of the target. There are many of them in Lucerne and from what I've read they still contain a lot of bomb fragments as you walk around and see them. We will definitely be stopping by this bomb target to check it out.

So...I guess I will bring the trauma kit and tourniquets for when you find the 70 year old UXO, lol. Looks like some good things to see out there. The petroglyphs have me intrigued.

Final meeting point at 9am will be the 76 gas station off Bear Valley Rd & Cottonwood Ave in Victorville. The info is in my signature. This is just a meeting point. We'll gas up further into Apple Valley.
