    Yeah kinda looks like its a road to the abyss, actually its whats left of old Hwy 80 (now the re routed Interstate -8 east) & if you wanted to go to the desert it was one of only 2 ways to get there, you either went this way along the edge of the mountains or you went thru Julian down Banner grade, i remember going down both... like 40 + years ago...:)

    Up here not so much, they had OHV areas that included this place (mt. Laguna) that were open years ago, now most of it is closed to public access & offroading is limited, your in the L.A./I.E. area so your not too far from us , next run posted up in our area feel free to add yourself to the list & join the TW SD crew, I know Vitang is up there & he loves trailing down here with us so I guess we're not too bad to be around...;)

    Well right now we're kinda scattered about the SoCal deserts, some of our guys just did the Mojave run with Mikes dbl cab ( I think it was the same run) I'm more local to Corral canyon (place I pulled Richard out ) The place has roughly 50 sq. miles of varying terrain & trails from novice to extreme crawling shit... I don't mind shooting a sand wash at 60 mph , but I prefer the slower,technical stuff (you can get just as big of rush at 7mph as you can 70mph ) But you know how it works, just gotta wait for a thread....;)
