Savage Stevens Model 940a 20 Gauge

TRD Performance Exhaust

So my wife's Grandfather showed me his Savage Stevens Model 940a 20 Gauge shotgun in prime condition. He mentioned giving it to me. I wanted to find out how much it was worth and age etc. I cant find much on this model. It is stamped with the dog on one side and the side breach release. But other than that there arent many identifiable marks. There is a stamp that says Westfield Mass.

Anyone have any ideas about this. I looked in that database but didnt have much on it.
