Not sure if many people on here follow him since he's a relatively new reviewer but I really like his style. Anyways he just did the 3rd gen and thought I'd share.

Nice find. He seemed to be the only one who gave the best driving impressions and went into great detail of how the new auto transmission, shift mode, and ECT button worked. Most of the other reviews didn't even know what the ECT button was or even mention it.

Thanks for posting. Good explanation on many things that are new/different with the Tacoma. As J919 stated, the driving review was very good with explanation on what the engine/transmission is doing.

I don't know why I am watching reviews for a truck I've owned almost 2 months and driven over 2,000 miles but this reviewer did a great job and I share similar sentiments.

He gets a pass for being down to earth and the rest of his review was spot on.

I liked his review. I'm pretty sure if he removed the rear headrest he could have folded the rear seat all the way down and had the space he was looking for. Just me though.

During the driving impressions the camera catching the screen refreshing was driving me nuts.

No, it's a common occurrence when using CMOS sensors for recording that it picks up LCD screens refreshing.

decent review. his style reminds me more of someone reviewing a smartphone than a vehicle. but I like it.

Consumer reports hates trucks and the tacoma, basically states because it rides like a truck. They don't recommend the previous gen but it gets top marks for reliability. Go figure

Anyway in there initial review they stated the engine is as fast as a stumbling zombie.

Funny because they did recommend the Dodge ram due to comfort, but it had bad reliability. Not sure how they go about making there recomedations.

The tacoma may not be perfect, bit IMO it's the best midsize. At least for now
