Truck looks amazing. Im not very good at painting either. For my trucks I just stick with Monstaliner. If it runs no one will be able to tell with all the texture. Keep up the great work.

I dig the rebuild, jealous of the V6. Looks great and it'll ride nice with that suspension. Tell me what you think of the upper control arms when you get some miles on them.

Do you mean the gap between the bumper and the grill? This is such an awesome build. Awesome work!

Is there any chance that the bumper was intended for the 98-00 models? The fenders changed a little bit between the face lifts.

Unfortunately that's how the All Pro fits on the early first gens, there is a pic on here of another member carrying a log in the gap as a joke when he got his. It is designed to fit nicely with the 01-04 as there were more of them produced... Still looks good and unlike the other bumpers it gives enough room for the solenoid box for a bigger winch.

Even my Relentless doesn't fit quite right...

I would just cut a plate and weld it on to close the gap a little if it bothers you, or put the baddest winch you can find in there
    :D

So I realized I'm an idiot and that's not what you're talking about, are you saying the wings of the side of the bumper don't come flush with the fender cutout?

    Not like this...

Huh, that's really weird... just checked on another truck that i know has one and sure enough

@shipps Does your bumper slide back more or is that just how far the wings go on our year truck?

Yeah, that's just how it fits unfortunately.

It's intended to fit all 1st gen models so I understand why it would fit differently on different years.

Good work bringing this thing back!

FWIW, I have an Apex on my '01, and it fits like that. It's meant to line up to a fender cut to fit larger tires.
