    Suspension:
    NitroCharger Sport Shocks
    881 Springs w/ 10mm enhancer spacers
    Light Racing Upper Control Arms
    Dakar Leaves w/ D43XL
Sky Manufacturing Axle Relocation Plates (set center pin 3/4" back)
    OME Greasable Shackles

    Wheels & Tires:
    285/75/16 Goodyear MTR's
    16x7 4 Runner Limited Wheels
    Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers
    SS Brake lines

It all started with a small conversation while playing some tennis with a friend of mine. He owns an auto shop so sees deals come and go pretty often. One day he told me he bought a 97 Land Cruiser in mint condition with only around 80k, along with a smoking deal. So of course I asked him, what are you going to do with the tacoma? I'm sure you knew what happened after that. I sold my 95 Pathfinder that I had been building for over a year. A auto tranny that I know would blow any day and a few broken studs on the exhaust manifold had me looking for a new rig. So I sold the pathfinder, sold all my aftermarket parts from my daily driver gti, which just got me enough to afford this beauty with the help of a buddy discount.

    98 4x4 TRD 5-speed w/ e-locker and only 88,900 on it.

A few days after getting familiar with the new truck, it was time to test it out on a trip to Tahoe. After having such a crazy snowboard season yet again, we had some luck on our side with a perfect weekend snow storm. Got about 2 feet, so it was nice to ride some powder again after getting a season pass for the 3rd season. Not getting a 2015 pass, that's for sure.

The truck did amazing other than getting use to having a light bed in the back.

Been searching CL for a camper, so I can do some trips without some sealing stuff out of the bed. After 3 weeks of looking, found one in Napa for $120.

Looks great, but the wheels didn't work out. I had to much backspacing 4"bs wheel + 1.25" spacers = rubbing the outer fender. I needed the spacers to clear the brake caliper but, it just didn't work out. Sold the wheels & tires and got my money back. I love craigslist. I will be thinking of a new tire & wheel option.

Picked up some 4runner limited wheels, I want to have 16's that way I had more tire options. Seems like no one makes 33x10.5x15 anymore. Looking to add some 285/75/16 MTR's shortly.

Just got back from a fantastic trip to Gold Lake. Got to test out the new tires and upper control arms. The truck ate up the terrain with ease. The only damage was a torn CV boot.

A few updates. I added an extra leaf to give the dakars and relocated the axle back 3/4". This helped with the dakars taking more load and keeping the 33's out of the fenders when flexing.

Last week I was finally able to pick up my rock sliders from BAMF. Went with kick outs and upgraded the outer rail to DOM steel. Just finished painting them with rustoleum bedliner spray paint. All I need now is to find me a welder to get these suckers on.

How are you liking the 881 coils?

How are the Dakars with the OME AAL? What's the rake like without the camper?

Post some more pics if you can.
