I can't help but think an aftermarket bumper should require cutting the grille and plastic trim, something like this. Like the ARB bumper requires for the 2012+ tacoma.

I think the grille on the 2016 doesn't look bad, but it is disproportionately big for that midsize truck.

don't look bad tho with some bigger tires and a lift, it helps the proportions greatly.

they do look better modded, but I think the 2.5 gen nose has a cleaner profile. but I would say that wouldn't I?

mostly curious as to what the 2020 mid gen redesign will do to fix it :bananadance: or make it worse :bananadead:

The new headlights are hideous. And they flattened out the hood scoop which now looks smashed.

I like the new scoop but fuck it can't pull off the grill and lights which are the two biggest parts. But the other two modded out ones looked ok but the bumpers still don't fit right

You know I went by the local deal and saw a couple of new models. I think there is a lot of potential with the new model but the front needs some help. I expect the front to get revised in a couple of years. I think the headlights could be more aggressive and the grill well we already know lol. The models I saw didn't inspire me at all.

Your 13 just looks more rugged and Bad Ass than the 16. Although your 16 also looks to still be pretty stock. Both good trucks Im sure, but I personally like the nose on the 2nd Gens better. I get lots of comments on my 15 looking rugged

I'll have to say after the modifications the front big grill doesn't look that bad compared to a smaller grill size like is on the second generation, but to have to take ever thing off from the grill down to get rid of an eye sore is kinda sad, and expensive for people that aren't bubbling over with money! I think they should have worked a little longer on the front end before they made the BIG CHANGE12240215_1029248323781461_151054716750423115_o.JPG33.JPG2.jpg

Dude, did you just photoshop that? Nice job. The one on the left looks a little better in my opinion.

No I just put it in my Paint XP on my computer and redid it, that's how I do stuff to see if I'm going to like it before I do it. Its a lot less expensive that way, thanks to the "God" given talent to be able to draw.

Nice! It's kinda like sorcery to me. :stirthepot: My sis fools around with Photoshop Elements sometimes, it's very complicated...
