    we have about 50 hilux at work, imported from toyota overseas for the us government. theyre cool but are smaller than our tacos. they also have less towing cap. do like the d4 turbo diesels though.

    I heard there is a company in Texas that can convert a tacoma into a hilux some way or another. Don't know how true it is but heard it was quite expensive to do.

    Toyota Could truely make the tacoma a "mid-sized" pickup, and make the hilux thier "compact truck"

    With the Turbo Diesel available in both models ;)

    Could anyone tell me why everyone is so into these Hilux trucks? To me, the only thing I like is the diesel engine. I think the truck looks cheesy and "soft". I think our Tacoma's look way better.

    The Top Gear Hilux was cool though.

    lol..... Anyone can put hilux on the back of there truck.... I saw one here like that too.. but this one seems a lot more legit.... brake light and roof is way different!!!........... was it rhd??

    I'm lucky i see a v6 4.0 hilux every days..! unfortunely i cant see a lot of taco here!

    Over here in Iraq thats all the contractors drive are Hilux's ill post some pics from them driving around the fob. They look pretty sweet but ide much rather rep my Taco :)
