Why couldn't we just go to Mexico and buy one and bring it home in equal but opposite fashion like they are always "buying" older cars here and taking them south and usually towing one with the one they're driving...........and don't bust out with the Federal regulations prevent it from being registered and inspected yata yata yata bullshit please. It'd make a nice trailered trail rig if you got a 4x4.

Agree...I think our Tacos look better too. Unless of course it's all decked out for the Arctic like that Top Gear one.

I liked it the best when they took it up the volcano and they had a wet system to keep the tires from burning up. SO BA.

my first thought was badging as well, but it was the real deal. the lines are different, the back is different. i checked the front when i passed, and it was the hilux front. it had wti badging on the side just in front of the drivers door.

it was a left hand drive, just like ours.

Here are a couple pictures I took while on a weekend visit to Samoa... I was working in American Samoa at the time and there were thousands of Tacoma's there... they have to meet EPA req due to being an American territory.

See them quite often in San Diego, because of it being a border city.

The pictures of the interior I've seen I really like.. but the Tacoma is a way better looking truck on the exterior.

I saw a couple in Baikonur Kazahkstan a week ago. The guy in the truck is probably saying WTF is this guy doing taking pictures of me.

I haven't seen any Hilux or Tacoma's in Moscow Russia. A few Nissans, Mazdas, a Dodge Dakota and a Ford F-350 dually (that was a big surprise).
