So a I've been getting a lot of PMs regarding my new Honda Grom that I picked up.. lol people have asked me what my plans are with it and to post up more pics... ok so for those who have asked... yes I still have my R1 lol. But I'm sure for the people that have street bikes riding around town can be not so much fun as riding on the free way or the track. So I bought the little grom just so I can have some fun in town and just mess around on. Plus my brother and his friends have one so I figured I'd get one as well. I got the Grom last weekend I pulled the "grey" plastics off and painted the black.. I though it would look better. I also installed a K&N intake and velocity stack. I also installed a set of protaper handle bars and a fender eliminator kit as well as some flush mount front and rear turning signals. Here's a before and after picture lol BEFORE.

I've been super busy getting ready for my upcoming basketball season to start that's why I haven't really been posting... but anyway I'm in Oregon visiting some family so I took this picture on the way to go hiking at the caves

I ran that size through willtheyfit.com and they said it should have more space than stock...ugh. Were you running your lift at the time?

Bilstein 6112 front, 5100's rear with blocks, camburg UCA, 17" XD's with 285/70/17 AT 3's and a blackout front grille.
When the 6112's were on the 4th notch and not the 5th. Now it's they are on the 5th notch and no rub unless im at full lock reversing unevenly. When these tires go bald i'll do the CMC, get the 285/70/17's and I shouldn't rub too much if at all.

I'll probably do the CMC anyway before I get new wheels. Later down the line I'll eventually do 35s but for now I want to be able to clear 285/70/17s on full stuff when wheeling. I think I was going to get the same wheels as you since I have a hookup on them but rethinking now if it rubs that much. I'm only at about 1.5" on my icons but don't want to go to the max preload setting just to clear...hrmmm.

I am a functionality over looks kind of guy and hear about 35s being rough on the tranny unless you re-gear it. And the bushing issues that comes with lifting so high. Seems like 285 or "33s" are a good size for these trucks. The 6112's gave me about 2.5 inch lift but you can't really tell with the baby passenger rated 265/70/17 tires I have on. Sorry to thread jack Chewy. Your build is amazing.20170920_164606[1].jpg

Hey what’s up man! Yeah I know it’s been a while lol I’m in season right now for basketball so I’ve been traveling all around hooping. I got some new TRD pro fog lights, headlights and taillights.... and a new BAMF raptor style grill for the Tacoma but I’ve had no time to install anything because I’m hardly ever home. I also took my wheels in to get powder coated a new color a couple months ago... I got them back already but I just haven’t found time to get the wheels put back on lol. As soon as I get all my parts installed I’ll get some new pics  hope all is well out there in Tacoma world haha I’ll be posting soon
