Yeah, there was a thread about it. It was stolen from my driveway and recovered a little less than 2 weeks later.

Thought I would update this thread for all interested. I went on a 540 mile trip yesterday with the new truck. Had just under 1,000 miles on it when I started. The entire trip from Denver to KS was interstate, 75 mph with the cruise on (only stopped once). I got 20.5 mpg on the whole. I was getting about 21.8 for the first 3 hours, but then hit a nasty 25-30 mph cross wind for the last 5 hours which hurt me a little. For comparison, my Tacoma would about 18 on this trip with no wind, and would have been closer to 16 with the wind. Very pleased with the F150's performance so far.

I always get better mpg when using cruise control.

Cruise control improves mpg, that is pretty well known.

Nope - cruise control manages speed not mpg, on a perfectly flat road it does an OK job...in hilly areas not that much

Not my experience, but OK. In fact, I was curious about that, so yesterday for some stretches I would hold speed w/ my foot instead of the cruise, and I was consistently doing worse than the cruise could when it came to mpg.

If 12-14% improvement in gas mileage are considered an "OK JOB" in your book then I guess you are correct.

In hilly areas cruise not the best idea, but other then that it trumps your foot.

I've talked to people who owned them. Most of them had problems going into limp mode on cold mornings. Dealers not fixing the truck. One guy said it was the worst riding truck he ever owned. All of them complain about the mileage. I haven't seen anyone who owns one that really loves it.

Beautiful F150 OP. I'd be happy with a quad cab XLT honestly.

HOLY $HIT!.... Did that truck come with a table dance or at least a kiss before being "you know what?"

lol... Enjoy the truck. I've had a Ford before and zero issues. Just wanted something smaller and Toyota fits my needs today.
