If you get there before the big crowd, I would suggest starting with the driver rear or passenger rear first. You'll have the most room to work and it'll build your confidence up for the fronts. Take the tire off and just work one side at a time. I cant remember off the top of my head what size sockets you'll need. I do know that the top of the rear shock tower can be held with something like a 5 or 6mm wrench so that the internals don't spin when you're removing the nut. You'll want a torque wrench that goes up to at least 90 ft lbs to properly torque the bolts. A good automotive grease or marine grease and copper based anti-seize will help with the road squeaks post install. Automotive and Marine grease are short term solutions for the moveable bits but a quality anti-seize compound will last longer. Better yet, if you swap out the supplied shackle bolts with the greaseable variety. Depending on your post lift height, you shouldn't have to get longer brake lines. I lifted mine about 2.5" post lift with the OME brand and I didn't need to get longer brake lines but if you want to be safe, swap them out. I used the axle jack that comes with the truck to help get the rear springs to line up. Lift the rear end up by the axle with a floor jack and use your axle jack between the springs and the frame to help bring them out. I was installing the new OME spring pack with the extra overload spring so my springs were "thick" and required some persuasion. If you're struggling with a specific situation, remember that someone has a specific tool designed to help you out. Someone with little to no mechanical background should be able to install a full suspension lift. The first thing I would do before you get started is to spritz down all the hardware on your truck with something like PB Blast or WD40 or whatever penetrating lubricant of your choice. If a bolt doesn't want to break loose when your disassembling your old suspension, heat up the metal surrounding the bolt/nut with a torch. Try not to heat up the bolt/nut. Warm metal expands loosening up the grip on stuck hardware. You don't want to burn your metal till it glows orange, just pass a torch about 3 to 6 inches from the metal back and forth for about 15 to 25 seconds to warm it up then try again. Remember that the metal will be hot so don't get burned. Bottom line, take your time and have fun. Ask bunches of questions.
