    Can't go wrong with a fiberglass camper. I had a 17ft Casita.

those look pretty darn cool, looks like they are sold direct, hopefully you can find someone semi local to check it out.
If they are direct, I wonder how warranty is covered? Not that I have heard great stories of warranty work/repairs on campers.

La Casita campers are very similar. I was told the two different brands are owned by two brothers.

A Scamp showed up here on Craigslist a few months ago and I went to look at it. Unfortunately had some water damage and was older than I was willing to risk so passed on it. My wife also insists on some soft of shower so that really rules out a micro. Have been looking at the Riverside Xplorer 135X pretty closely. Don’t like the Rpod or Jayco offerings so choices are really limited.

Deals can be had if patient. We snagged one this past winter .

Jump on Facebook there is a scamp buy and sell thread.. Some people get high prices b/c its the people looking but I have also seen a handful on FB and people didn't know what they had. There is some shop in the midwest called like the gear outpost or something that finds them online and resells them at fair prices as well. I think they are only on FB though. We love ours.

One of our former neighbors had one, I don't remember which size. They really enjoyed it and traveled all over the place including a 3-month trip to Alaska.

You got a 13' Scamp? - how is it holding up. I've heard both sides of good and bad.

I had one for many years, sold it when I bought a bigger camper. Now I wish I would of kept it. They are bullet proof and tow easy. You can go to their web site to see pictures of the insides. They haven't really changed much over the years.

What little experience I have in this field, one thing I have noticed is they all have an array of feedback. I would think a lot of that is consumer's expectations. There is some junk out there for sure, but some buy a camper not recognizing it was built to be light and cheap, add to that almost all of them sit out in the elements year round and go bouncing down the highway. So to me, some, if not many, have unrealistic expectations.

Oh I agree. I've seen video's of youngish couples with toddlers in one of these things and they feel 'cramped'.... duh. I've seen video's of people trying to
live full time out of one. Duh...

Before I ordered my Casita I look into the Scamps. The Casita exterior floor (undercarriage) is all fiberglass. I remember reading somewhere that the Scamp exterior floor isn't. I sold my Casita 2 years ago, 3 years after I purchased my cabin in WV. It just sat since I bought my cabin. It was a 2014 and I sold it for almost as much as I paid.

9A86C92C-B563-4FB2-816D-03AFE1649D84.jpg I have a play-mor 2. Similar to a Scamp. Paid a great price and restored it. I will be buried in this after all the work I put into it 69E22345-B6A9-4DC8-8213-82DCEA2020FE.jpg

They sure do. I picked this ole Shasta 14ft up last year for a few hundred bucks. Of course it's no fiberglass camper but it's a cool little camper. It's actually in great shape inside. I miss my Casita tho.
