Used the tape measure clips as well and am very happy with the turnout. I drive 4 miles of washboard dirt roads to work everyday and it has never fallen. Thanks for the great idea cheap and effective!

Were you able to use the stock scanguage cable with this or was there an extension part needed?

Am I the only one who entered the thread because I thought it read "Sausage Mount"?

    Off topic but.....

Ben has agreed to develop an ultragauge mount for the overhead panel/console.

I've sent him my items to prototype. Fingers crossed that it comes out similar to the scangauge mount.

Let me know how that goes. I’m torn between buying a scan gauge or using my already available ultra gauge that’s sitting in a box somewhere.

It seems I'm just one step ahead of you brother.....sanded and scrapped to remove machining ridges. Filled with glazing puddy and two coats of primmer. Now we paint!

It took me all weekend to sand and primer it the way I wanted (this was without using any glazing putty). Then it took about 4 coats of paint to get it the way I wanted, but the end result was worth it! Install will go down tonight after work...

Looks awesome! What paint did you use - color to match console? I did my programing for the Transmission temp 1 & 2 but still need to program the TPMS as well (still not sure if I'm going to do it) tire temperature.
    Keep us posted....

I used the paint recommended by @Gus87, it looks close but I haven't actually put it next to the console to see for myself yet! I've got both trans temps programmed as well, but I disabled my tpms so I don't think I'll program them.

What year is your truck? I only have one trans temp. I didn't try the others I think it's labeled 'tft'.
