The recommended color is quite a bit off. A couple shades darker would be perfect!

Dang! Wish I knew that earlier. It was so hard pushing the gauge into the mount. Not sure how I’d get it back out.

Looks great! Are we able to purchase them? And did you need a longer cable, mine seems like it may be short.

That kinda defeats the purpose of the riser doesn't it?

No. Scan gauge small, mirror big...
I do like how clean the scan/ultra gauge looks mounted in the overhead console. What I like about this is that I can grab it off the mount and plug it into another car easily. Plus, as a gauge cluster I prefer it closer to my field of view

I was originally going to just drill holes and through bolt to a nut but I stopped at 5/32" drill bit and realized if I didn’t make the hole too big a screw might tap into the plastic back.

Take the back cover off, set the base where you want it (just barely enough room between the wall and the cable port) and mark your holes. drill your pilot hole and graduate up to 11/64 (i think, stop at 5/32 and check to see if a screw will start to thread itself) A 3/8“ long 10-32 machine screw should thread nicely into the plastic, go slow and straight. With the ram mount diamond base mounted to the Scangauge, the 3/8" long screws are the perfect length.

If you didn’t buy the riser with a 1“ ball on it, the holes are tapped for a 10-32 screw, 1/2" long and they won’t make contact with your windshield. I used ram mount diamond base size B (1“) ball and the size B short arm.

Edit - does this work with a 2015 sport?
I dont have the co pass/light holder. Just a normal sunglassholder.

Here was my recent solution. Will sand it down and repaint to match interior color. Love the functionality and use of space. I'm surprised I went this long without a scangauge 2!

Can you tag me if you get a paint that matches well to let me know which one and post up a pic of the final product? This is on my list of things to do once I getter bigger things done I'm working on. I dont need no sunglasses holder. Gonna add it in my front with this in the back which is already done.

I definitely will report back once I confirm the color! Nice switch array you got there!

Thanks, it's a Meso panel. I got it all daisy chained and clean in the back. I wired it so my compressor switch must be engaged throwing power to the compressor for the locker switch to get any power. I think adding the scangauge in the other holder would look damn good and also functional and out of the way. 20200425_225315.jpg 20200425_225434.jpg 20200425_225351.jpg
