On mine I bought a cheap tape measure and took the belt clip off it. Take the scan gauge apart and drill a hole in it and put nut and bolt to hold the clip. You can pull the headliner down a bit to slide the clip into and run the wire along the front and down the A Pilar. Take the cover off and you can get the wire down under the dash and it’s just long enough to plug in right there.

Awesome, I might do it up that way. Originally I was thinking somewhere down near the AC or something. This looks a bit cleaner.

I have an UG, but it's mounted at the very top left of the front windshield.

edit: Added the picture. The wire goes down the A-pillar underneath the plastic. I have an OBD splitter so that I can have the UG plugged in and still have access to the OBD port. I'd assume you can do the same thing with the SG.

Any particular splitter you rec? Have the UG as well and it was annoying to unplug it for smog and other shops.

Just one I found on Amazon. No issues so far, working as intended.

    Here's the one I purchased: https://a.co/d/2Ds50PY

I used one of the mounts in the link posted by @tacomataco2 and mounted my SGII on the steering column with a simple routing of the OBD2 cable.

Same. I made some homemade clips out of thin 1" aluminum strip and mounted to the headliner left of the mirror. If you have a mirror riser you cant go above the mirror.

    Same here.

Roughly how it looks from the drivers seat, nice and tucked up out of the way. Been running solid for 3+ years there

Opted to avoid the windshield so I can use my sunshade. I don’t have a garage remote and figured this was a nice spot
