How did you mount it up there?

I like it up here. Bought a cheap $2 measuring tape and took the belt clip off it and put it on the scan gauge. Mines to the left a little bit but you can still see it with the visor down.

White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
No photo, but for me, I opted to let the Scangage be a secondary gage. Not in plain sight, I mounted, actually it wedged in with no mounts, the the small plastic compartment opening, to the right of the steering column on my 2010 Prerunner. Ran the wire harness up and over the steering column, then coiled the excess. Stashed the wire behind the Scangage before placing it in the opening of the plastic compartment.

Rigged this up with some belt clips I got off Amazon, Superglue to attach them (I didn't have any small screws), and a little bit of velcro to keep it from slipping around.

This. Looks a lot like mine. :) Except I just used some double stick Velcro tape.

That looks real nice. If I didn’t have the factory temperature gauge there I would go this route.

Does that work as a replacement of the back panel, using the four little screws? Pretty slick.

There was a small door there for storage on the non compass equipped models. This replaces the door and secured into the top center plastic utilizing some screws.

I bought it off a member here awhile back for around $30 I believe. He has them on eBay now the last time I heard.

Sorry, I meant if that panel replaced the back half of the Scangauge. Regardless, that's very slick.

The whole scangauge presses into it pretty snug. I spent some time filling, sanding, priming and painting mine to before installing it. The first pic I posted was the same style mount on a friends truck.

I ordered my UG with a ball mount that adheres to the windshield with double sided 3M tape.

Not at all, it slides into the mount and I believe there was a screw. I've had it for a few years already so I can't remember the install details lol

Note to self: Get some screws, because while it will hold up fine during driving (including trail use) while Superglued, it won't hold up to adjustment by hand. Snapped the left one off while trying to reposition it.

Like I want one really bad, but the guy quoted me like 100 bucks to make. I just can't justify that.
