Thiers do not have the "Clear Codes" option. So you can not turn off the check engine light as easily as you can with the Scangauge2.

Xgauge and Add a Gauge is the same thing.

Basicly, the Xgauge is a way to add an extra gauge that is specific to your vehicle. The Scangauge works by using OBD2 code that is generic for most all US made vehicles ( voltage, water temp, RPM, ect ). A good example is auto trans temps. GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota, all use a different code to read the auto trans temp. Currently, most GM, Ford and I think VW, use only a couple different codes, so those can be entered into the Scangauge. Once done, your Scangauge would now read the auto trans temp.

Toyota's computer will not allow for the Xgauge features to work, so no Xgauge codes are available for it yet.
