Gonna get one for my '07 TSS. A couple of questions first:

Wondering if the gauge dims with dimming of regular dash instruments?

Also - does the tranny temp work with latest gauge and my '07?
    - does anyone use the S/G intake temp as a "pseudo-gauge for outside temp?

    TIA!

There are 2 settings for the brightness of the SG but it is not linked to the dash lights. I just select the low setting and it looks good all the time.

Trans temp and engine oil temp still do not work.

The intake temp is usually a few degrees higher than my overhead temp gauge when driving. If I am sitting in traffic its about 10* higher but I have stock intake.

I doubt we'll ever see trans temp and oil temp/pressure availability. It's been 2 years since they've said, "We're working on it" and now they're saying, "Toyota won't allow them access to the data"
