I've been watching way to many Russian dash cam videos, I kept expecting a meteor to light up the sky, a tank to mob through a snow bank or a herd of pigs to be running the streets

That looks like a really nice setup. Especially for the price. It's kind of creepy that no matter where you go nowadays you are always on video, and this is only perpetuating it.

With that said though, it does seem like a good idea to have one.

I like it because most of it hides behind my rear view mirror. And it's completely hidden when I have my parking tag on the mirror.

It has a built in connector on the other side. Can't really change it out.

But 3.5V on the output, and my charger (iphone) is a 5V 1A output. So it may not work the best for a phone charger.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Your screen name is very appropriate for this thread :D (as is your avatar)

OP, look into a fwd and rear facing system. My work internet is slow so I can't quite look it up but there are a few on Amazon.

I have been considering a dash cam...seems the best out there as far as tech support and functionality is the Street Guardian SG9665GC with a CPL (Circular polarized lens) from my research on the dash cam forums.

I just pry the head liner open a little and stuffed the wire inside towards the left side pillar. Then removed the two screws on the handle and removed the cover. Then ran the wire along the pillar and down the cab. Then the wire goes to the 12v plug.
