Those with a GPS, did y'all just tuck the power wire or hardwire it? I'm looking at both methods and want the easiest. I kinda like the hardwire for the cleaner look but I can't find how to do it anywhere. Disclaimer: I am a total NOOB when it comes to wiring.

I have 20k on mine with no chunking and probably 70% tread so I've been happy with them, although I won't get them again.

Bandit. Corporate is full of shit. They told me they had my dealership perform the hammer test with no issues and no holes were found. After speaking with my rep at the dealership, he confirmed they never even inspected it because corporate wouldnt honor the work because they were a "warm weather dealership".

I called corporate and raised absolute hell. My truck was still registered in MD at the time. The case got "escalated" and i went thru a weeks worth of BS of calling back and forth and finally they called me and said they couldn't do anything for me and I'd have to take it back up to MD or VA and try my luck up there. Literally 30 minutes after they told me that, my dealership rep called me and told me toyota had just released a new "limited service campaign" that allows dealerships anywhere in the 50 states to apply the compound or replace frames on a case by case basis.

They still sent out 2 reps from southeast toyota to physically inspect my frame before theyd sign off on it, but long story short, they finally approved it and my truck is at the dealership right now with a new frame waiting on brake lines, should be done on Monday.

Long story short: I might have gotten lucky cuz i was still registered in MD, but dont give up, keep pushing, call them out if you think they're lying to you, and raise hell. Its not unwanted work, the dealership gets paid big bucks for this work, get them on your side.

Trade in for something. Most dealers don't do a very good inspection until it's ready to be put up for sale

I know a sales person at the north charleston Hendricks, he told me they really don't make to many deals on their tacomas because they are a volume saler and people normally pay the price they are asking. Good luck though

What if we all just rolled onto the lot and bullied them into the price Scott wants?
Sounds like a good idea to me.

    HAHAHA!!! YES!!!

No :( Not gonna put it on until I can get bigger tires (afford em). But! My wife told me she's going to go up to Montana when I deploy next (October) and is going to need snow tires...meaning I get to install the lift and the truck gets to see the snow. So that's a win/win, right?

Good news...I finally talked my son out of a 6" drop bracket lift for his new truck. Bad news...gonna spend about 5k tomorrow on all the stuff he does want. :(

Yeah, if he goes sideways for some reason, I'll have a nice truck. :D Gave him a nice long speech about how his grades and behavior got him the truck and that's exactly what will get it taken from him. I think he got it.
