I'd love a custom flat bed. My bed gets in the way of all the shit I wanna haul around

I think the only person with more of Eddys creations on their truck than me is Eddy. He did my sliders, I'm on my second front bumper, second rear, Ive got both of the skids he offers. He custom made my bed rack to fit around my tool boxes but keep the RTT low where I wanted it. I'll have his shackle flip before long. He did my cab mount chop too. So if you wanna see his work mines a good place to start although most of it was done before he got the CNC Plasma table. His fit and finish I world's better now, but it was never bad by any stretch of the imagination. It's amazing what the dude can do with a plasma cutter and a welder.

I don't. I think it's cool but I see a lot of wasted potential and space. I would have done it very differently. I think the drawer that it's built around was a mistake, but that's me and my purposes. For him it may be perfect. I envy his ability to draft it up and then build it though.

His looks really clean which is what I like about it. You have a point about the space though.

X2 there's a lot of usable space that he didn't take advantage of

I would have used " 4 foot over rail tool boxes" on the sides for storage and left the middle, where the drawer is open. That would give storage space and utilise what I see as wasted space above the rear tires. Setting them back 12" or so towards the rear bumper would give space for the spare tire near the cab like he has, which I like. I'd build a cage off of that structure for my RTT. Then chop the last foot of my 6foot bed frame off for a bobbed trucks departure angle. I don't know if that makes sense and I Damn sure can't draw it in solid works, but that's what I would do
