What would a reasonable asking price on Craigslist for my stocks wheels/tires? They have 2k miles on them. Need to make some room in the garage.

 

I'd ask 400 for them but get on Craigslist and see what theyare going for

 

Sure could have used them today..

 

I sold mine with 220k miles on the rims and tires with 40% tread for 350 delivered

 

I sold mine, w/ 20k for 500. So somewhere between 300-500 would be reasonable. PS. I miss my truck

I went thru this but the other way around for about 4 years.....my mother hated my girlfriend. We have now been married for 22 years and my mother changed when the grandkids started popping into the picture. She knew she had to treat my wife better or she would never see the grandchildren. NOW, everyone is one big happy family.

The hardest part is for Amanda....trying to play referee between the 2 parties. Eventually she will have to do like me.....choose between the 2 of you. Once her mom figures out that she is losing her daughter....she should change. Should....

 

Yea . I'm thinking so too.. I love her and Am planning on proposing Wednesday.. and let the chips fall where they may.. worse case ill be single and just have to spend more time and money on my truck lol.. thats the worst case

 

easier to make that decision BEFORE you have kids than after. There are a million chicks out there and honestly until you realize that you will settle for what you are in. I know you may love her but at the same time when you marry someone you marry their family. It is a long tough road if the mother doesn't like you already and it will just put a strain on your marriage forever. I am so glad I have a great relationship with my mother in law but if we were dating and I didn't have that relationship I would have just moved on to the next fish in the sea. Holidays with your wife and family, special events, birthdays etc all need to be considered before you marry someone because in my opinion that is for life so it must not be over looked. I look back at the several girls I considered marrying and am so thankful I didn't settle. It is hard to make tough relationship decisions for yourself in the moment because all feelings and emotions are involved but 1 year or longer down the road you might feel you made the right choice when you are with a woman who's family thinks you are the greatest thing that ever happened to their daughter (made my life much easier knowing my mother in law thought of me as a blessing).

just my unbiased third party $.02, everyone's situation is different so I am not here to judge, just to share in experiences.

I went through hell dealing with my last breakup back in 2008 (BEFORE I got engaged and before I met my now wife) to her to the point I was depressed and had to get on medication for along time (long story short it was the most horrible time of my life and I am a very positive, upbeat, happy person and never thought I would go through depression).

With that said if you love them anything can be worked out.

 

Yea I see that.. her mom said if she married me she would kick her out of the family.. so I am gonna put her words to the test.. and then let Amanda decide if she is ok without her mom for awhile or pick her over me kind of thing.. she says she would. But I'm gonna end up letting her decide what she wants in her life.. honestly her mom is not good for her.. she puts her down 24/7 she got a hospital management position and her mom said she will fail at it.. nothing positive ever comes out of her mouth.. so if she chooses that over me then I definitely am not gonna try and make it work..only way to find out is if I ask her to marry me.. and let whatever happens happen..

 

I am old school and always wanted to ask the father if I could have his daughter's hand in marriage. Well my wife's father passed away before I ever met him so I took her mother out to lunch to ask her one day.
