hey @ChamYota what size hole saw bit did you use and the piping to attach it to gather with

 

We don't carry steel that thin. We'd have to get it special just for those screens. If we got like 20 people at 20-30 dollars per screen then it would be worth going and getting steel that thin for just one run of a product

 

I've seen people run the stock intake to the snorkel. If/when I snorkel I'm gonna order some intake tubing and run it to the air box and the snorkel with silicon couplers over the top of it and tighten the shit out of it to make it airtighr

If I had the money I'd run a mishimoto silicone pipe with their nice clamps made for pressurized applications

 

yea i thing i might still have some intercooler piping and cuplers and clamps left from when i had my nissan 240sx

 

Also for the new snorkel owners make sure to put a fan cut off in. If you have water come in from your grill your fan will turn into a propeller and break off. It's made for air not water. I've seen it happen in person.

 

Or since y'all saved so much money getting the eBay one do it the right way and go get an aftermarket electric fan that you can run at low, normal or higher speeds and you can let it cut off with the truck or run it with the truck off to keep cooling the engine down while your bullshitting on the trail waiting for your turn to go up and you can cut it off before a water crossing. Mishimoto has a low profile on for 70 bucks

 

Yeah I have the icons with 700 coils and honestly my OME was smoother and a better ride with the 885 coils. Figures.

 

His kings are valved differently. They'll be smoother than ome and low speeds but really firm and stiff on the highway
