Honestly, the thought has crossed my head to do it now. All I would want to do is two ARB's, regear and a new set of 35's. The only problem is that FJ's are so susceptible to damage, it would not come back looking the same.

With 80k you wouldn't SAS with portals and run 37s? I'd do trail gear Rock assualt with d60 SAS all on portals and ORIs and military take offs. Keep the frame height low and tub everything and bob my bed

Honestly, 30k would be about what It would take to SAS and rear axle swap the FJ. That would be a front and rear fabricated 9", Hydro steer, four link front and rear, Atlas II, Coilovers and at least 40's.

I'd put the rest into my engine and drivetrain lol 261k miles on it now. But I'd probably just run Chevy 63s in the rear realistically. I don't think I'd really need 4link in the rear

80k Could almost get you SAS'd axle swapped and maybe even LS'd swapped!

MMMMMM an LS powered Taco would be sweet:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

It's cool to see a velcro field on something besides a 'tactical' style jacket too.
