All Pro APEX w/ full hoops. Warn 8000-S winch. APEX IFS, trans, and tcase skids. APEX sliders. All steel.

Looks like I'm an AP fanboy but I've always appreciated the quality of their stuff...plus Tracy gave me a good deal with their free shipping promo that was going on.

Of course for a reduced rate. Your game either way if I install and don't like or if they're brand new?

Definitely. I'm just playing the same waiting game you are.

Now to find a good rear bumper that I can keep the factory hitch with. It never ends...

I got a rough country buddy and it's a very good winch even though it's a rough country. Bunch of my jeep buddies run them and have had no problems what so ever and it's synthetic. I think I paid $450-$550

You sir are correct in that I may need to reconsider the winch. Maybe step it up to a 10k.

I had an ENGO 10k w/ synthetic on the FJ. In downtown charleston it decided to engage and shoot the Factor 55 Prolink 30' through an intersection. Lucky it didn't hit anything or anybody.

Bent the shit out of my fairlead and steel Metal Tech winch bumper. It had great reviews but after that I tend to shy away from Chinese stuff.

So spent today helping a friend install this. Turns out I liked it so much, I changed my pelfreybilt order to a HC with a swing out.
