Was good- had the Cotswold platter, meat portions were smallish. They have lots of Bourbon too.

Sounds interesting...might have to give it a try sometime. We always went to sauceman's but we lived on that side of town so it was the closest. Good portion sizes though. Another favorite was Shane's rib shack.

Queen City Q uptown is good, R&R up off poplar Tent is good, I do like Shanes too, a few spots in town, Prices Chicken Coop South End for best fried chicken in town, cash only, take out only, dont even try to get something after 1130 am, lol, line all the way down the road. All American Pub South End for good sports bar and great scenery, Hot Taco right next door, same owner, same good scenery, food not bad too

 

Shanes is good! This place is where Mama Fu's used to be. Its sort of a bourbon/bbq/asian fusion type of place. It works!

 

Lived here a decade- still need to get to Price's!

 

Prices chicken coop is amazing. Food truck Friday's is another fun part of south end. Ah man we miss Charlotte...so many good places to eat and drink. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery for instance. Greenville SC sucks! Ha!

 

I have never been to a FTF, lol, I need to. OMB is a block from work, we had out company xmas party there, very cool place.

We probably spent way too much time at OMB. The food and the beer was excellent. Now we can't go to Charlotte without bringing home a case from there. Sadly they are having to scale back production because they hit the 25,000 barrel cap for distribution in NC. Stupid laws...
