How does it do on hard take offs? We permanently lock the rears on the purely drag cars I've done and it makes a huge difference there

 

Same difference. Although I doubt you'll be lifting the front tires of the ground

 

We locked a detomaso pantera nicknamed kornerking and it threw it off of a lemans style track at 117 mph. Scary shit. We ended regearing and removing the locker for no charge

im gonna get a detriot locker. they have one that will perform as normal when its "unloaded" and will lock up when it is "loaded"

i feel like it'll hold me over until i can afford an arb or a yukon zip locker which I'm honestly leaning more towards over the arb

 

I think I want to do ARB in the rear just because that's what ill have to have up front because of the full time 4x4

 

the yukon locker is the same thing as an arb just cheaper and ill run an arb compressor.
i forgot y'all have full time 4x4. that sounds kinda annoying

Um. I think all that means is "Under acceleration it's locked, no acceleration it's unlocked"

 

Okay I did more research. Your right but it allows the inside wheel to rotate at a different speed when cornering. I was worried that it would make both wheels rotate at the same speed when cornering

If you are not under any acceleration, most lockers turn at different speeds. Thats the way mine is.
