It's easy to do, that's for sure. The Busa was the 6th bike I've owned. Had the most power of all of 'em but handled like a school bus....too heavy.

I'm looking at either of these.....anybody have some input? Kawi KLR 650 & the Honda XR 650 L ......both are around $6,800 new.

Yeah...the looks of the KLR is questionable. I've never had a Kawi either....always had Hondas or Suzukis.

Of the 2 bikes, the Kawi is more suited for road travel while the Honda is closer to a dirt bike. The main thing is the Kawi is water cooled & Hondas is air.

Thats an old pic a couple years ago. It was stolen not long after.
But..It wasnt a bad thing. Instantly out of $12k debt which helped me get a better rate buying my house. (4.5)

Had bikes my whole life KZ1000, Buell S1W, yamaha xv920rh, r6,r1.
The bug hasnt bitten since the R1 got stolen and I doubt it will again.

I rode my buddies busa in the twisties in pisgah nation forest, cashiers, and buncomb. And although it was heavy as hell, that thing rode like it was on rails!!

Yeah I've had 6 bikes sense 1986. I loved em all & have the itch again to have another. I'm the only guy I know that put 60,000 miles a sport bike (Busa)!

I agree Kevin....KTM makes some badass bikes but their version is about $5K higher than the Japanese bikes.
