I had to borrow my dad's car all day yesterday. I had a blast lol

 

My trucks been on axles stands for nearly a week now so I've been driving a big f350 service truck

 

Still not done with paperwork. It's becoming a PIA

 

I still have to go get a physical and a drug test before I can be concidered. I'm not sure if it's worth it anymore

Can't remember if it was Scott or who I was talking to about the optima batteries not fitting well.
I do in.fact have a red top. Tinkered with it this morning a bit with all the plastic adapters that come with it to help with fitment. They are stored under the fancy lid.

Anyway, after trying all the adapters with no luck to get the battery to fit correctly (the end with the hook fits fine, its the front end on the radiator support that has space under it) I realized that the actual plastic cap that comes on top of the battery that stores the adapters.....is in fact an adapter itself. Flip the lid upside down and set your battery down in it. It snaps in.
Viola!! Brings the battery up to proper height and both L shaped brackets on the battery now fit correctly.
This has been a public service announcement.

 

So....its common knowledge that it is a spacer?
Now I feel dumb.

Well. Chores are done. Run to recycle/dump.
Stopped and picked up 4 sets of guitar strings and a set of bass strings. Time to grab a beer and start winding. Then going to dig out all my recording gear thats been packed away for a while and setup my small recording studio.
