Good points so far. I guess it will be more for storage than sleeping although I do want to keep it flat. I guess I'll be in a ground tent for a while. I'm gonna have to do a lot more camping before I decide to drop the coin on a RTT. I want one but damn they are expensive.

Eddy, let me know when you aren't busy and we'll do some brainstorming. I appreciate the input guys.

I wanted to meet up with y'all today. But I've been working third this week.

 

It was an interesting meet to say the least.

 

Holy shit yes it was... lol And i'll tell the story if the fellas don't mind... lol

 

I can't wait to hear this one...

 

I really wanted to come to the meet today, but I had already planned on working on my truck today. I couldn't wait any longer to fix my lights. And I had to write a paper about killing weeds . Maybe next time.

Alrighty, The story begins before the meet was actually supposed to begin. Kevin(Suttonkb) had some issues with his coil over not compressing so before i headed to Greenville i headed his way to make sure all was good. Turns out it was nothing i think? lol

While he got ready to rock i took some pics of our rigs before we left.







So we headed out to greenville. Got there in like no time.. Wonder why? haha

So we meet up with Jferrill84 where we experienced something i'd never done, Twin Peaks. It was like Hooters on steroids. Girls everywhere. IT was amazing, we watched a 8 year old looking kid straight stare at a girl's boobs as she was talking to his dad haha hilarious moment.

So at that point we were bs'ing and tried to figure out our next plan of action, we decided to hit up a parking lot to just chill/regroup and i showed the both of them my RTT, they both want one now, Kevin wants a 6" lift and i want 35" tires... Story of my life haha.



So we figured we'd call around the folks we knew in the area and asked about some good trails we could just ride down. I call TheGoat(Justin) and he tells us of a power line trail off Salted road, about 4 minutes away, perfect right? Right. haha

So we convoy (all three of us) down there and we start to get in the entrance when it happens, freaking DNR Truck is riding on the same trail we are.. Im thinking, "we're fucked now". We stop and decide we are leaving the trail.

The DNR guy at this point is barreling down the hill and everyone is getting out of dodge, we all had to pull a 360, and me being at the back, was the last one out. Kevin and Jferrill dip out and me being the dude i am, i say fuck it and pull over, at this point they both are already down the road making right dipping out. haha

He comes beside me and the first thing he says is "thats a sweet ass truck and if you don't tell your buddies to come back I'm arresting all of you..." So i call kevin and in short we all come back and he pretty much tells us about the law and how we were only getting warnings.

He then turns arounds and tells us about all these good trails that are privately owned but the owners don't give a shit about.. Sweetness! we talk for a bit longer and he writes our warnings and turns out Kevin AND Jferril84 know this guy one way or another small world for real.





So he leaves us with a parting gift, he tells us that he is going home and if We were to hit the trail we are not gonna be caught and he left just like that. he also told me i had a super good shot at getting to Law Enforcement and being a Game Warden specifically, i was happy to hear that LE is still a go in that department.

Now that he left we decide to hit the trail we just got a ticket(warning) on haha.

Kevin and Jferrill tires were large and they hadn't done enough trimming to safely wheel so we all get in my truck haha, it was a good chance to flex the suspension, the foxes ride really well and it flexes pretty well now as well.

At this point a POS ford comes through and tries to show off and gets stuck in the mud but he frees himself and blasts by us, running over a pole in the process.

We all then got back in our trucks and dipped out.

I didn't think a 3 person meet would end like this but it was awesome and thats all i got.
