Measured for straps today. Looks like a 9" should do me good where I want to mount them.

    Gonna run it like this:

I'll take that as an invite!

I've got a buddy that is in Bozeman, & I've been trying to find an excuse to go to Yellowstone on top of that. I'm sure this truck will cause me to go on some adventures. You guys have quite the setups, mine won't look like that for a good while, but hopefully will have a lift and tires figured out by end of summer so I can start really playing!

Looks like you guys have fun out there!

Sweet, I got clevises in last week, just need to take some measurements as you mentioned. Are you going to reuse the factory bolt on the shock or get a longer one? Meanwhile, I am working out my bump situation and need some input from you. Ordered Supers, and have the DK steel spacer, but it is looking like I am going to need over 1.25" of spacer for them, you are at less than half that IIRC.

I removed the coil, (using your ratchet strap method too, but compressed them on the truck, then just used the ratchet to keep them compressed), then started stacking everything I had lying around, luckily had some big ass washers. So, with both the DKs, and 4 ~3/16" washers I have a little over 1.25"

Below you can see the stack, remaining travel left in the shock, then the squished bump while lifting the truck off the ground with the jack.

I think this is correct, but seems like a shit ton of spacer, and really I probably want more margin on the shock shaft for hard hits. Thoughts?

I'm gonna have to get a different bolt that is a hair longer for the strap off the front of the bottom coilover mount. I am trying to decide if I need to double shear the connection too like in the picture I posted. I hate to grind down that nice PC on the DK lower to add a tab for the double shear, but I will if I have to. Also, I was toying between a 9" and 10" strap for that location. Let me know what you end up with.

As for the spacers on the superbumps.... I'm running two wheelers 3/8" superbump spacers plus the DK steel spacer (i'm pretty sure, i'm on the road for work and will double check that for you tomorrow night when I get home). It has been perfect for me.

Based on the shaft you've got showing there i'd say you're pretty close to good. That bump will compress more under a hard hit.

Do the DKs not have a secondary shock mount on them?

No, could have done it as an option though. Plus you want the strap as inline with the coilover as possible.
