    Wow gorgeous up there! And I thought you couldn't get to the lake that way? Doesn't it close off to ranger access only or something?? It does get super narrow at the lake too

    Had a killer weekend up north in parts of Montana and northern Wyoming. Thanks to Monte and a couple from Billings for joining in on the weekend. 5 people and 5 dogs... Was a hilarious wolf pack we had going on.

    Went back into Goose Lake north of Cooke City for the second year in a row for me. The place is special and so full of beauty everywhere you look. No trip report from me, just pics, Monte may do a mini report if he gets to it. Thanks @Blackdawg for the pics, always fun having lots of cameras on the trip!

    Was crazy Mike, we had hardly any hardship by the bugs! Just a bit of wind and some sprinkles. Was all around just about perfect. Also, you I are now "almost drive off a cliff" buddies. Except my cliff was more like a scree hill... But still, if i had gone any further big cheese may have been no more :eek: We snatched off a boulder up hill to my slider and drove right out of it. I LOVE MY WINCH!

    I saw that (and commented) on Monte's flickr. I kno that pucker feel when you give it a little power expecting it to pull out and instead it goes sideways. :eek:

    Just talked with BFG. September 1st 2015 they release the KO2 in a 295/75/16. That's the next tire going on the truck along with 4.56 gears. That tire is only .1 inch bigger than my 285 mtr. Sucks the ko2 in 285 is so short compared to the 285 mtr... It's a whole half inch shorter!

    I've got the KO in that size and you won't be disappointed. The KO2s look much better too! Haven't felt the need for new gears though. I'd like to hear how they are with that size though! :thumbsup:

    gears help so much especially with a manual. By my dads it helped a lot too with the auto.

    Its one of those mods where you do it and go....wtf, why didn't i do this so much sooner

    Its hard to get past the sticker shock but once you do, regearing becomes the best mod ever.
