Hey Marc, how did you like the Dura Tracs? I'm ditching my MT/Rs when they wear down and was thinking of go with the Dura Tracs. I don't quite want to go with an A/T, want something more aggressive, but not another M/T. Figured the Dura Tracs would be better for a DD than the MT/Rs. Noise and bad mileage is getting old.

Same reasons im getting rid of mine. Yea the duratracs were a great tire. I had E rated. Were pretty quiet. Snow traction was great, but you're in the dez so no snow? Can't remember.

Yea, so I can keep my header from hitting the frame :anonymous:

Don't want to thread jack but durarracs are beyond amazing in the snow. Quiet too... Yet very agressive looking for an AT. However I'm on the other end of the spectrum going to MT/Rs haha

I couldn't believe how much the motor moved when I took some video during in town driving. Each gear shift it moved way more than I thought it did.

No, I'm not in the desert, I'm in the Southwest valley before Big Bear. Pretty green and lush area because the clouds dump rain to gain altitude to get over Big Bear, Wrightwood and Mt. Baldy. Haven't had snow yet where I live, but we do get icy conditions. Mojave Desert is on the Northeast side of Big Bear. We get a lot of rain during the winter because of the location and I spend a lot of time up in Big Bear in snow and icy conditions.

I'm on my 3rd set of MT/Rs, I'm over them. Maybe I'm just getting old, but When I drive home from a long stressful day at work, I like peace and quiet to listen to the radio and relax.
