    I still run standard bushing uppers from Dirt King. Their original tubular ones. I beat my rig the hell up and have never really seen a justification for heimed uppers. I have never went out of camber caster alignment.

    Just be easier not to fuck with cams is all. Although even normal bolts will still rust in the bushing.

    Different strokes for different folks is all. It's good to have options regardless but I don't mind cams.

    Why? Just take it to a competent shop that knows how to adjust heims.

    DSM sell DK products as well, not all are items are listed on their website, give them a call or PM. Cheaper than direct from DK FWIW, $690 vs $750 for the heimed uppers.

    Not exactly. I mean you literally have to remove the UCA bolt to adjust them. Which as you now know is a bit of a pain. It would take a few hours for a shop to do it. Be expensive as hell. If you could find a shop that would even do it for you.

    Marc, got my uppers on order, should be here Friday, as well as the DK UCA gussets which DSM recommended over the TC ones due to fitment. Could you give me an approximate starting point for the heims, like # of threads showing on each of the four? I still plan to do the solid mounts on the lowers with the rear all the way out and the the front halfway between center and full in. Thanks!

    Honestly I'd start with what dk sends them at. It will be the same as a normal uca. Reason I say that is my two arms are adjusted quite different from each other from side to side. So odds are my settings won't get you closer than what dk sends them with

    Sort of build related. Picked up this scooter from SLC last week with @BossFoss

    Looking forward to scouting new trail with the bike and keeping some harder miles off the truck. The bike needs some tlc but nothing i cant handle i dont think. I'll post pics of the upcoming fork rebuild (seals leaking bad), be interesting to compare to truck shocks :p

    yea the ride is a bit more plush haha. Not bad though, might get fun with two back there :D my homebrew rack did great from SLC to Lander! My welding skills had me worried but i'm feeling better after this test.

    weird question .. does your steering feel different than OEM when you swapped lowers?

    I swapped to LSK lowers and the steering wheel doesn't pop back in to place when i release it; if I am making a turn the steering wheel will straighten out somewhat but nothing like it was with the OEM lowers.

    That sounds like an alignment issue. Mine doesn't do that. Or something is binding somewhere.
