Yeah, I'm saying the burgs didn't really do shit to help the caster.

 

I've heard from a local member that he was able to get a little more caster after he installed stock length Total Chaos LCA's.

 

Alright, need some expert plug readers... @Torspd @Lucario Runner ? How do these look to you guys ? Just pulled them today and their in the order of front of the truck to the right. They were really opened up in gap @.055 spec is .043 max. They also smellEd like blue cheese, like exactly like it. They've been in the truck for maybe 40k max. Headers have been on for the past 10k maybe with the o2 sim. I have a stock air box.

 

So I think the smelly plugs is because of old e10 gas. At least that's what it sounds like it is after a bunch of reading. I hate ethanol as a gas, even though it made great power in the Evo it's so hard on everything.

 

you'd be correct. what octane are you using? any fuel additives?

 

I run 91 almost always. No fuel adders. I might run a bottle of techron thru next tank

Thanks, i run redline for my trans and diffs and have been really happy with it, not sure why I didnt look to see if they had anything for fuel. I'll report after i run a treated tank through it. So far though on new properly gapped plugs the truck is running so much smoother. Pretty happy about it actually haha.

Got Jax out for a training hunt today. Put out three birds and had a blast watching the pup get birdie. Three birds was about max with the warm weather. The local game farm was perfect to get him excited about it.

Hey Bill, thanks! Been just using it lately and not posting much. Got one big maintenance project I want to get done before the summer is over which involves removing the bed... other than that the truck is a champ.

I also pulled the vibrant resonator off and welded in a straight pipe again. Sounds soo good! It's raspy until the exhaust pipes get warm which is why I didn't like it in the winter. In the summer once the motor is warm the raspyness goes away. I'll get a clip this week sometime. Been driving like a goon haha.
