    A little more backspacing than you think. +12 mm of offset on a 7.5" wide wheel means 4.75" of backspacing. So if your wheels are +10 , then ~4.65" of BS.

    I don't know enough 2nd gen anatomy to say for sure but that much BS with a 295 mm wide tire would cause interfere at the stock UCA on a 1st gen.

    That's another good point Mike. You're likely to get some UCA contact on full lock on the tire turned in. Mine does and I'm at about 4° caster. Gets worse as you add caster

    Edit: if you have aftermarket arms, especially box style

    Just works better for going fast and street driving which I do 95% of the time.

    But 295 is more fun to look at :p

    Hmmm good point I didn't think about that. I wish I could just test fit the tires before I bought them:-(

    I am running a total chaos upper makes a little more room over stock but I too am at 3.8 caster.

    Even if you did test fit the tires, they might look like they clear when turned lock to lock at ride height. But they might rub the shit out of your stuff as soon as you pull into a driveway or small incline/hill. My 315's clear my UCA's at ride height with those TRD wheels but rub alot if it's turned and on a small incline. You might also rub the frame with those wheels and 295's. My 315's rub my frame with those wheels a little at full lock, and that is with a .75" wheel spacer.

    Thanks sounds like it might be too much of a hassle trying to run 295s on the trd wheels. Btw I love your truck I have followed it for a while. Do you have an IG page?

    Thanks man, my IG page is hilodana. Might not be too bad with the 295's. You might just have to trim where it rubs and do a good cab mount chop and hammer the pinch weld flat.
