    King 2.5 reservoir non extended travel with 700 lb coils. Id love to hook ya up but i cant spend the 6k it would take to jump to lt right now...

    Do you have a shot of your cv angles in there current state? Reason being i think i need to bring my front down

    Heres my preload on the left...the one on the right is how it was for a year, it was soooo stiff

    those are 700's right? I have 1 thread of preload showing at the moment. I'm gonna bump the drivers side up a bit to level it out but nothing more than 4 threads showing. I'll take a picture when I get the truck back from getting the third member leak fixed.

    Yea that is where it is right now. I dropped it off on Sat since I was near there and it was still leaking after i retorqued the 3rd mem nuts and found 2 loose... i'm still well under warranty and the guys at my dealer are all wheelers like me so I dont think they are going to hold anything against me knowing I use it like a truck.

    Yeah I went and checked all of mine. I didn't "torque" them but they were tight

    good deal. Yea it was leaking near the E-locker area at the housing to 3rd member join.

    Nope. Toyota said due to physical damage it's not covered... so i said i'll just pick it up today and reseal the third myself. Pissed. Should have some fun pics of the axles pulled and the third out later tonight. Sucks cuz i could be doing gears!

    Just be careful when pulling the axles out. The seal is a spring seal, and can be messed up pretty easily.

    Yea, so I've seen and heard. I was going to have jackstands to rest them on when I get them pulled and be extra careful pulling them. Any tips tor? Thanks for the heads up.

    Vacuum caps for the brake lines...and they don't need to come out to far, so you shouldn't have to remove the e-brake line or remove the drum.

    Good tip on the vacuum tips ;) I used them when doing my extended lines and it helped a lot with the mess... From every thing i've seen it looks like 4 inches aught to do it? Yes drum is going to stay on.

    Should I use the toyota FIPG or Permatex gasket maker for diffs?

    I used Toyota FIPG and it is holding great. I also wasn't careful when I pulled my axles... But they've been fine after each being pulled twice now.

    Man that sucks! I don't think the dealership where I live would do that. But I'm also buddies with the owner. I bet I know which rock you were stuck on that caused it though! :D I guess next time you can remove all of the scraps before you take it down there.

    no excitement tonight. Talked to the tech about a few things before I brought er home. It wasn't leaking as bad when I picked it up. Also had to order parts since they didn't have the studs in stock and i might need one or two. So friday night/sat morning i'll get it re-sealed with new studs to be safe. I was dressed up from an interview and the lead tech looked at me like i was a total tard for doing it myself lol! Jokes on him, they wanted over 700 to fix it... HA!

    Yea, I literally said "are you joking" The tech claimed 7 hours for the job. I'll time it this weekend in my garage, and I wont even hurry...
