hahaha, I didn't want to be too harsh but since you went that far back...yea were still in the 80's :D but like I said, it doesn't bother me at all, in fact I really enjoy the simplicity and take care of your own shit mentality.

I need to pick up a rod soon since I live here :anonymous:

Just went through this entire thread. All 50 pages. Thankfully I work 10-hour shifts and it's really slow, so I was able to do it with relatively few interruptions. hahaha

Love the build. Your truck looks great and I learn so much from reading other peoples' build threads. But your pics? Your pics are just sick. Wyoming is gorgeous and I'm quite jealous of all the wheeling, hiking, camping, hunting, etc, etc, etc, you have at your disposal.

woa, just noticed the 50 page mark! Thanks Chris! I'm doing all I can to take advantage of where I live, and I love it

I want to spectate the Masters at some point in my life, I see you are an Augusta resident :D way cool.

The build thread's are a great way to store/share pictures, adventures, and most importantly help others out! Feel free to PM me with any questions you've ever got.

Despite the temps being way cold and the shocks acting like pogo sticks until they got kinda warmed up the truck handled much better out on the two track I hit this afternoon. Compression is a hair stiff but it's a good compromise for the summer and winter mode weights. Adding the flutter made a HUGE difference on the street and mild bumps offroad.

So, for now the rear setup is:

    12,8,12,12,12,12 Compression/8,8,8,8,8 Rebound at 150psi

    Bumps are set at 80psi.

Marc, are your rear Kings 2.0 or 2.5s?

2.0. the bumps are 2.0x4" limited to 2.5" stroke.

Would 2.5s fit with the Pelfreybilt shock relocation? Or is that overkill with the bumps?

2.5 would be overkill imo but you could probably have him notch the mounts for 2.5 if you want.

2.5" bumps would be overkill for sure. When I looked into bumps most say that 2.5's are for like full blown trophy trucks and really heavy rigs like fully built diesels and such.

As for the rear shocks. I'm not sure. For rock crawling, daily driving and mild speed runs, 2.0's will be fine. I went with 2.5's but I jump the hell out of my rig and am pulling almost 16" of travel in the rear now.

Was out and about today looking for "symmetry" shots for this weeks challenge and decided whitey needed some glam shots :p

The lights behind the grill are the new fogs for the new bumper, they needed to go somewhere until the bumper got here!

The front shot really shows off my douche mark on the front bumper

looks like I have some touch up painting to do this spring too...

Thanks fellas, i'm diggn em so far. Getting used to the look of lugs that could swallow small children... Got a sweet deal on the trade in value for my duratracs so it made the upgrade an easy deal :D

I did stuff and turn them Monte! and i'm glad I went 285 instead of the 305 33 size, would have just been more rub and still only be 33's... Yes wide tires are cool but for me not practical with how much I drive it. Gonna be lots of us on mtr's this summer... mine will still be the smallest :pout:

I'd trade trucks for a week Pat :D Kinda want to see what SUA uptravel is all about!
