Who said I was in a hurry! I think it's pretty good for what it is and what it cost me to have air!

My bolts took some persuasion from the hammer and flathead after bending... the passenger side was quite a ways over. Body mounting favored the drivers side.

Yup, whitey is on stands till Monday evening. Then off for alignment on Tuesday. I chatted with the guys I get tires/alignment from and i'm gonna be running the 265 duratracs till they're done. They could do 260 a tire for 285 fierce MT's which will be my next tire after hearing how quiet they are compared to the duratrac and how well they hold up to oil field rig hand abuse. I was about to jump to them soon if they would give me something for my duratracs but they said they didnt want them, which I kinda saw coming. No bigs the duratracs are fine for 90% of the driving I do, I would like the extra clearance though... Plus it's time to kill the truck fund for a while :)

Yea, the duratrac has been an awesome tire, just wish they were 285's! There's 16k on the 265 so they'll be around for a while yet.

All kinds of productive this weekend! Shovel and ax mounted. Had to cut the full length shovel down about a foot but works good now. The rail cleat touching the shovel is tightened down on the shovel to keep it from vibrating on the rail.

Yup. Same brackets that are holding my mud flaps :D Bent them up a bit to support the two tools and added some rubber so they wouldnt rattle or wear through the plastic bed... Real solid!!! I used a T-slot nut, worked great.

    Front and rear done!

    Back together
    [IMG]

Perfect ride height! 125# bumper + 120#of sand + 60# bed mat + hilift and tools yielded a 24.25 hub to fender driver side, 24.5 pass side. Front is at 22.75" driver hub to fender, 23" pass side front. Rides like a truck now, firm but not bad at all. Expos are not harsh, period. Small takeoff vib but nothing else, pert stoked!

Hmm, what's this? ABS wire... Troubleshot my abs/traction lights today since it's been on since the work. Somehow, someway this got stretched during install. Next time i'll just take the whole wire out it looks like. Anyways, soldered it up and sealed it up and...... No more lights on!!! Feeling good.

Had the most fun I've had in a long time today! Whitey got "real" trail tested and amazed the hell out of me. Took a ride down Christina Lake Rd, mainly to get a feel for how a second gen does down this trail and give an update on the trail after this years runoff, which is still happening... Overall the trail is a straight up blast. Just enough challenge for the first 80 percent of the trail that you can sort of relax and just have a good time driving(it is still a trail and you can still get in trouble here...). The last 20 percent of the trail is pretty gnar. I made it to about 90 percent of the way and had enough for one day, plus I was by myself. The trail progressively gets harder and the rocks get bigger and more awkwardly placed. I used my sliders once today and put a small dent in the stock tin foil skid. Concentrating on picking lines and getting through the last part of the trail beats you down, along with all the bobbing around on the rocks. I had 25 psi all around and the E rated duratracs held up very well. A few spots I thought I was in trouble as I watched the sidewalls crinkle down real low... but no flats and the ride was really comfortable for how nasty some of the rock sections were. Anyways, spent about 2 hours getting to my turn around point and less getting out since I knew my lines. Saw a few fourwheelers and dirtbikes. All of them looked at me like I was a freakn nut, especially the group that cought me near the end of the trail, they all became yota believers today. On to pictars!
